Maybe this stuff has always been out there, but I’ve noticed it getting more and more circulation lately.  Sandy Hook, Chris Dorner, and now the Boston Marathon bombings, are all, apparently, the work of the US government, orchestrated to bring about the final destruction of the Constitution and the installment of Obama as President For Life.  There is always some convoluted bullshit “evidence” put forward as to why this is the truth, often easily refuted within 30 seconds with a search engine.  Apparently, Alex Jones is now saying that the late Chris Kyle’s company, The Craft, somehow were involved with the Boston bombings because they were on the scene.

As easily refuted as these things are, they keep spreading.  People who I would have thought knew better, simply keep spreading the bullshit around, because, “This administration has lied so much I wouldn’t put anything past them,” or, “Even if it is fake, it’s good to wake people up that they have to be vigilant.”  What bullshit.  A lie is a lie.  A half-truth pointing to a lie is a lie.  Someone who lies to you for “good reasons” is still a liar and a scumbag to boot.

Alex Jones is a whore.  He finds little isolated facts, statistics, or pictures and builds sinister conspiracies out of them, the more outrageous the better.  Oh, he makes sure he keeps them short of the tinfoil-hat UFO crowd.  He wouldn’t get near as much traffic if he went that far.  But his entire MO is to stir up as much outrage and paranoia as he can, in order to get more attention, and therefore more money.  He is no different than the political whores in DC, who will exploit any opportunity they can to gather more power and money.  This has been illustrated time and again with the stuff Jones comes up with.

I am sick and fucking tired of hearing knee-jerk bullshit touted as truth when ten minutes of research would show it to be completely false.  I’m tired of people giving the government so much credit.  The DOJ couldn’t even keep gun-running to Mexico secret for long.  But somehow these government goons can orchestrate, execute, and keep quiet mass murders on American soil?  Fucking please.  Start thinking for yourselves, instead of listening to some fucking fraud who tells you that listening to him equals thinking for yourself.

I am the last guy who is going to trust either politicians or bureaucrats.  I am fully aware of the massive abuses perpetrated by the government, in blatant violation of the Constitution.  But this level of paranoia is the exact same as the leftist idea that somehow the government is the embodiment of intelligence and moral rectitude.  It is the belief that the government is made up of people who are supremely competent and organized, which is a lie.  Governments are made up of people.  The sooner we remember that, maybe the sooner we’ll become more interested in the truth than in the outrage of the day.

I’m dealing with a lot of this crap within my own family. I have a son who now listens to Alex Jones. I’m constantly having to refute his bullshit… but unfortunately for me a lot of his predictions have come true (but not all). And to make it worse the White House is constantly responding to him, which does nothing but increase his visibility and make reasonable men ask “why”. I suspect in the annals (anals?) of history their are thousands of accounts where tryanical wannabes get their start by arresting guys like Jones on charges of sedition… and then watch as everything he says becomes even more factual. What would you say if they arrested Jones? Let’s not ignore the elitist dishonesty behind the screen. I’ve spend years watching Arabs do this very same thing based on one salient point: Arab governments are all lying shitbags who can’t tell the truth, and use their friendly press to manipulate any situation unto failure. If it wasn’t for Israel not only would there be nothing to blame (massive) Arab failures on, but Arab governments wouldn’t be able to disguise their behind the scenes maneuverings. The Obama administration has done nothing in my estimation to reduce the paranoia/common sense as to their all controlling (tyrannical) wet dreams. We all knew gun control was coming and Obama denied and denied… but then he does it. He’s willfully arrogant, and the cause of much of this paranoia. Then we can move on to Benghazi where there most definitely has been a conspiracy to keep our Mideast Operations secret. And for good reason (at least in the minds of our overlords), we’re supporting the most anti freedom actors in the region. We’re removing tyrants and intent on replacing them with worse tyrants who like us even less than the people they’re replacing. And I’m kinda hard pressed to think of our present Overlord as a lover of the constitution. My inner asshole keeps shouting at me that, “he’s not responsible for any of this shit… YET!!!”

You said It perfectly with “I’m tired if people giving our government so much credit.” doesn’t get better than that. I would like to add that taking advantage of idiots should be against the law. I doubt he believes the shit he’s shoveling. He is just making money off of people who will buy wholesale whatever he sells. And that is exactly what makes him a true whore.

    Well put, brother!

I just wrote a blog post last night about Conservatives & conspiracies & someone who read my post shared your link with me. I’m glad they did. Great job! It’s short & to the point & your title is HILARIOUS!

Since writing my post last night (and reading various comments about it from others on facebook) I’m finding out that there probably are more of “us” than there are of “them”…however, “they” are still unwilling to let go of their fantastical fantasies (as is the nature of the beast of conspiracy).

As far as I’m concerned, Alex Jones is an embarrassment to the human race. I used to watch his videos from time to time just for laughs. He’s become so popular now that I can’t even bring myself to LAUGH at him anymore.

Here’s the post I wrote (if anyone’s interested):

I’m starting to think that a lot of it has to do with the need to simplify and categorize everything. To some of these people, having multiple threats that aren’t somehow in cahoots is more than their little brains can process.

But since we don’t agree, we must be one of “them.” We’re in on it, you see…

(Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a YouTube video from some B Sci-fi movie of a lousy actor looking in horror at their friend. “Oh no. You’re one of them, aren’t you?”)
